If anyone has read recent Microsoft news, then they know about the missing kid that Microsoft's offering a reward for. I thought it rather odd. Why would Microsoft offer a reward for just some kid? Is the kid connected to Bill Gates, to an important Microsoft employee, or what?
I clicked the link and read - to my great horror. Ugh. I think you should read it yourself, if you haven't already done so, before I continue:
Microsoft Offers Reward for Spoiled Punk Kid
Here's a section that particularly set me off:
"This had become his identity, and I didn't realize how in-depth this was until I took his Xbox away... like cutting his legs off."
We're referring to a brat's XBox as his "identity," now? Oh, my goodness. This kid deserves to be lost. The father's better off without that ungrateful leech of a thing he calls "his son." And they're spending so much time and using so much energy to recover this kid. Un-be-lievable. Just let the sucker fend for himself - that is, if he hasn't been killed off yet, or anything. Ha, ha, seems like some promotional opportunity for Microsoft, though. But I don't really think I'd call this good product publicity... No, I wouldn't want a dumb, temperamental teenager representin' my product.
No, siree
Really, what is our youth coming to? (And note that I am part of that "youth," as well.) I am ashamed of our world. Maybe we need get a guy like Jigsaw come clean a little bit here and a little bit there.
I'm joking about an obsessed, purist serial-killer killing off our undeserving youth.
Just. Joking.
